is it meant to be? you know i'm just amazed to think that this photo was shot at a time when nobody knew that it could be a WAY for me to take home a sony dsc-t700 digital camera after 20 years. gets? there's this something mysterious and simply awesome about life that makes me lighthearted these days.
now i can't prevent myself from visualizing the camera's feel in my hands. ooooh... so slim and smooth. i'm unboxing it now and i'm so happy because it's pink and it's touch screen! yehey!
alright amy. back to earth.
a digital camera is actually on the left sidebar on the wishlist. i still like the panasonic lumix dmc-lx3 camera but i heard that the video capture of that gadget isn't that nice. i'd like to shoot videos too and i really think the sony camera's good at that. so i want to win it! but again, if ever somebody else needs it more than i do, then ok fine. as long as i know that i've done my best then i'm cool with it.
i'm also wondering when will i receive the backpack that i won from the bratpack contest at byahilo.com. i'm so excited and i want to use it na for carrying my laptop and other recording gadgets at lizzie's home studio! nobody has contacted me yet. other winners were told to contact somebody from the advertising firm to claim theirs but i was told to wait for a call. so i wait with an everlasting smile on my face :)
so what else did i do today aside from flooding my other blog?
hmm... looking so serious about slicing what?
wow! brownies!
and it's yum yum yum!
mom says i really got it this time! it has the perfect chocolate taste, not too cakey and not too fudgy, not overbaked or underbaked. i followed the same chewy fudgy recipe and added raisins plus white chocolate chips on top. but i'm wondering if i over beat the eggs because there were areas that weren't laid flat at the bottom that looks like they boiled.
things i learned? now i can predict the outcome of the dough by its thickness when it's still unbaked. i'm not going to settle for cheaper all-purpose flour because i like the texture and color of what i've been using before and the manual oven that we have is now my good friend!
but i'm not that confident about it yet. i should bake and bake until i could do it with my eyes closed, know the ingredients and measurements by heart without depending on measuring cups. 'cause i am the CAKEWARRIOR! i'm hoping i could take some at the band practice tomorrow but it looks like there are only a few squares left. maybe next time.
by the way, i think i should use my kodak c310 more often as it took great pictures at my sister's girl scout investiture this afternoon. that's what i used to take pictures of the brownies and it's way better than my camera phone.
i've finished reading the river cross my heart book by breena clarke last night and it's true that it's a sweet novel. i didn't know that racism was that grave in the 1920's so i'm thankful that things changed and obama will do more!
this is quite long now. gotta split!
